A little less than two months after the very successful launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Activision is following up with the commencement of Season One, which comes along with what the company says is the “biggest free content drop” in the franchise’s history.
Announced via Twitter, the update will include a whole range of free content including new maps, game modes, and weapons:

- Infected
- 2V2 Gunfight Maps

- Just Reward
- “And more”
- Weapons

For those currently playing the game, Activision says that the Season One update will be available on December 3 on all three platforms — Xbox One, PS4, and PC — simultaneously.
