HOW TO GET RID OF BACK AND BUTT ACNE FOREVER?

How to get rid of back acne and butt acne forever?

Acne is such a pest. Whether it pops up right on our face or on our back, it’s always unwanted and always makes us feel miserable. At least when it’s on our face, we can see and reach it (though being able to see it is not a good thing!). When it’s on our back and butt? It’s hard for us to even know it’s there, and it can be very hard to get rid of it. But what even causes us to get acne in these awkward locations in the first place? Many reasons, including genetics, diet, medications, changes in our hormones, as well as excess sweat and stress. Is banishing back and butt acne forever as simple, as eliminating the causes? Not necessarily, but here are a few ways to kick acne in the proverbial butt:

Ice Cubes

We thought we’d get this one out of the way because we’re not gonna lie – it’s going to get COLD. Ice cubes are effective, if your acne is so bad that it’s causing soreness and inflammation. Dab an ice cube on the affected areas for near instant relief.

Eat Better

Another useful tip on how to get rid of back acne is to implement a healthy diet. One of the things we get told often is that we are what we eat. Is this really true? Absolutely. If you eat clean, your body will look and feel clean. On the other hand, if all you eat is junk and sugary treats, your body will start to look and feel rundown. Our skin is very good at showing us how our body is coping on the inside, and an outbreak of acne could mean that you’re feeding your body all the wrong things. This can compromise your immune system and it can allow toxins to run riot. Moreover, there are foods that cause spikes in your blood sugar levels, which further exacerbates acne. The best foods to eat if you want to banish back and butt acne include vegetables, lots of fresh fruit, lean protein (think chicken and turkey), as well as whole grains.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is super handy and versatile, and it can be used to treat various ailments. One of the things it’s really potent at treating is back and butt acne. This is largely down to its anti fungal and antibacterial agents that eliminate acne at source – and can even prevent it from returning! All you need to do is take a cotton pad and soak it in some coconut oil. Then, dab it over the affected area(s) before leaving overnight. In the morning, simply wash off in the shower. This is an effective, natural method that works a treat.

Shower After Exercising

Maybe you’re protesting at this one:

“Hey, I always shower after exercising!”

Always?

Sometimes we leave it a while. And doing so can cause a breakout. See, acne thrives on dirt and sweat that sits on our skin after we exercise. Even you don’t shower as soon as possible, you’re giving acne every chance it needs to explode all over your back and butt. Also, it’s key that you put your workout clothes in the laundry before wearing them again. Otherwise, all that sweat is just going to cling to your skin once more.

Don’t Sit For Too Long

If you spend most of your day chained to your desk, spend more time taking mini breaks. Walk around the office. Don’t sit for too long.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Another tip on how to get rid of back acne is to use apple cider vinegar. We know, we know. Grandma used apple cider vinegar to treat everything, but you know what? This isn’t some made-up, legendary old wives tale. It actually WORKS, when it comes to banishing back and butt acne forever! Apple cider vinegar is a good source of vitamin C, which is just what your back and butt needs right now. Simply apply the solution to the affected areas and leave for around half an hour, before rinsing off with warm water. Not too keen on the idea of using apple cider vinegar? Try lemon juice instead. It’s just as potent and contains as much vitamin C. Go for it!

Tie Your Hair Up

Got long hair? Long hair is nice. It’s feminine and attractive. However, long hair, when it comes into contact with our skin a lot, can also cause an outbreak of acne. And that’s not cool. Naturally, you’re not always going to be able to keep long hair off your back, but there are precautions you can take. For example, when you go to the gym, tie your hair up into a ponytail. Another thing you’ll want to avoid from now on is shampoo and conditioner running down your back and onto your butt. Why? Because they can trigger acne breakouts by clogging your pores.

Garlic

Hmm, we can already tell that you’re sceptical about this one! After all, doesn’t garlic smell funky? And isn’t it used to ward off vampires?!

You’re correct on both counts, but garlic is also a natural treatment for a number of remedies – including back and butt acne. This is thanks to its anti-fungal and antibacterial properties that work like a charm on acne, kicking it literally in its stupid pimple-faced butt!  All you need to do is grab yourself a garlic clove and turn it into a paste. Then, apply it on the affected area and leave for 30 minute before washing away with warm water. We recommend following this procedure at least twice a day for best results.

Use Honey

Sceptical about garlic? Worried you’ll smell too much? Try honey instead.

Honey is one of nature’s best miracles. We absolutely love the way it tastes (it’s SO good in a bowl of porridge), but as it turns out, it’s also an absolute babe when it comes to eliminating acne. This is because honey has lots of natural healing properties. All you need to do is rub a pinch on your fingers and apply it to the affected areas using a cotton pad. Leave for up to 30 minutes before rinsing with warm water.

Wear Breathable Underwear

Lastly, what you wear can affect how much acne you have. From now on, be kinder to your skin by wearing breathable underwear.
