The kitchen was a little bit busier this week than it has been recently.

One night after dinner we made banana splits. They tasted a lot better than they looked!
Have you ever had "Tochos"? It's basically nachos made with Tater Tots. We had a couple of grands for an overnight and we fed them cheeseburgers and Tater Tots for dinner. We had some Tots left over so, the next day we made Tochos! We had a little leftover chicken and burger in the fridge, I reheated the meat with some chopped onion and green pepper and mixed in a little taco seasoning and water. Sprinkled that over the tots and sprinkled some mozzarella cheese over that. Popped it in the oven until the cheese melted and the tots were hot...
...sprinkled shredded lettuce and a dollop of salsa over the top. Delish!
Our Super Bowl Sunday snack was baked Brie wrapped in crescent roll dough. We smeared it on crackers and Granny Smith apple slices...
Our traditional Super Bowl Sunday dinner... Michigan hot dogs and steak fries...
We homeschooled our granddaughter today and this is what she requested for her mid-morning snack.
Pepperoni, cheese and crackers and lemonade... oh, and strawberries!
